OBV1-B60 series Surge Protection Device (SPD, also called surge protector, surge arrester) is suitable for TN-S, TN-C-S, TT, IT etc. power supply system of AC 50/60Hz, <440V, which prevents the electric network shocking by the thunder or surge over-voltage. The design is according to the standard of IEC61643.1, GB18802.1.
Product Features
1.SPD as a port, prevent electric shock, install indoor, limit voltage.
2.Inside the SPD, there is a release device used to separate the SPD from the power grid when the SPD is overheating or leakage failure. It returns a color indication on the window, green means normal status and red means abnormal status.
3.Use high quality MOV, large current discharge capacity.

Application Scope and Installation Position
OBV1-B60 series surge protection device is suitable for B grade lightning protection, installed on the joint of LPZOA zone or LPZOB and LPZ1 zone, which protects the electric network not shocked by the thunder or surge over voltage. OBV1-B60 was usually installed in low voltage main distribution box connected to the incoming end of the buildings.
