Description
OBV2 series Surge Protection Device (SPD, also called surge suppressor, surge arrester) is used for TN-S, TN-C-S, TT, IT etc. power supply system of AC 50/60Hz, <380V, connecting the interfaces of LPZ1, LPZ2 and LPZ3. The design satisfies the standard of IEC61643-1, GB18802.1. It can be installed on the 35mm conducting rail. There is a failure release function deigned inside the SPD. When the SPD failed in breakdown of overheating or over current, the failure release function will be generated to separate the SPD from the power supply system and a signal is returned on the SPD color window, white means normal and red means abnormal. The failed SPD can be replaced under an operating voltage.

OBV1-D is used for D class lightning protection. The OBV1-D20 series surge protection devices are designed according to the standard of IEC61643-1, GB18802.1, connecting the interfaces of LPZ1, LPZ2 and LPZ3. The devices are usually installed in the house distribution box, computer centre, information equipments, electronic equipments and in the socket box in front of control equipments or near the control equipments.
